An Elite In Projectors and
DLP Technology
dlp panasonic
projector is one of the few early projectors
that came out with the Digital Light Processing
technology of Texas Instrument and the one which
uses 3 Digital Micromirror Devices or DMD. This projector by
Panasonic has many pioneering features. We all know that, today projectors are used to
make presentations of all sorts. Presentations are made in
well light class rooms as well as in closed
auditoriums.
Whatever the place may
be, it is important that the images projected on the screen or
wall will be bright and clearly visible to the
audience.
If not, the entire purpose of the presentation
will be lost.
The Panasonic DLP
projector uses what is called ALS or Ambient Light
Sensors which detects the light condition in a room. It
automatically adjusts the intensity of the projector out
put to ensure a constant bright picture on the screen.
The ALS is capable of adjusting the
intensity of the projection even when a door in the
auditorium opens and closes and lets sunlight in to the
room. This is a remarkable difference between the
Panasonic’s DLP projector and a conventional projector.
Another ground breaking feature that is
included in the Panasonic DLP Projector is its novel cooling
system. Panasonic calls this the liquid cooling
system.
Conventional projectors use fans to cool. The
fan produces notice which is annoying in a pin drop silent
presentation.
While the
Digital Light Processing technology’s Digital Micro Mirror
chips gives you crystal clear pictures with vivid
colours, the quality of the presentation in a room where
smoking is permitted, like in bars and such places, can be
maintained in top form only if the smoke does not get in to the
projection system.
-
This is not possible with a conventional fan
cooling system.
-
The fan also draws in the dust which affects the
lens.
-
The liquid cooling system introduced by Panasonic
seals off the projector from getting any air from
outside and instead used the liquid cooling similar
to an air-conditioning system to cool the heat
produced inside the projector.
This prevents any smoke or dust particles
getting in to the projector and interfering with the tiny
mirrors of the Digital Miromirror Devise.
Another outstanding feature in the DLP
Panasonic projector is the use of two lamps instead of one.
Although it is not necessary to use both lamps,
the projector comes with that built in “Dual
Lamp” option. When the dual lamp option is used, it
not only enhances further the quality of the picture, it also
prevents a projection black out in the middle of a presentation
due to the bulb burn out.
Even if one bulb was to burn out, the other
will be on and your presentation can go on uninterrupted.
Finally, another very useful feature that is
present in the DLP Panasonic projectors is that it is super
quiet. This is much felt when the projector is used at places
of religious worship and museums.
All these features and many more put together
makes DLP Panasonic projectors stand out in multi media
presentations. dlp
